Our IT Project Manager is a highly skilled technical executor responsible for architecting, implementing, and supporting complex IT projects across multiple client environments. This role requires deep expertise in infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud technologies, along with the ability to independently troubleshoot advanced issues and deliver solutions with precision. You will own technical project work from design through completion, document processes thoroughly, and drive continuous improvement in workflow and service quality.  This role is in-office 5 days per week.

You enjoy translating complex technical challenges into clear, actionable steps and take pride in delivering high-quality work independently. You’re energized by architecting solutions, executing projects end-to-end, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

  • 4–5 years of experience delivering hands-on technical project work in a multi-client IT environment

  • Advanced experience with ticketing systems, such as ConnectWise Manage PSA, and RMM platforms like NinjaOne

  • A strong background in documenting procedures, following cybersecurity best practices, technical troubleshooting steps, and project outcomes

  • Commute is <60 min to Pasadena, CA.   

Preferred Experience or Certifications

Experience architecting, designing, or deploying solutions from the ground up in areas such as:

  • Operating Systems & Infrastructure: Windows Servers, Networking, Apple macOS & iOS

  • Cloud & Productivity: Microsoft 365 (Fundamentals, Teams Administrator, Teams planning & design), Azure (including AZ-800)

  • Security: Sophos XG Firewall, Sophos Central Endpoint & Server, Ironscales Mail Security

  • Networking: Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist, Ubiquiti UniFi Network & Enterprise Wireless

  • Business Continuity & Storage: Datto Advanced Technician, Veeam Backup & Replication

  • Certifications: ACSP, CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+


Skills

  • Expert-level troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex technical issues without supervision

  • Ability to architect, design, and deploy technical solutions independently

  • Deep understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, networking concepts, and cybersecurity principles

  • Strong communication and customer service orientation, especially when guiding non-technical users

  • Excellent documentation habits — clear processes, consistent updates, accurate technical records

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, follow established procedures, and meet deadlines

  • Willingness to adapt, learn, and continually grow technical skillsets

  • Ability to follow detailed processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical support and project execution for the most complex and critical client needs

  • Act as a technical owner for assigned projects, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and quality

  • Architect, implement, and document solutions across networking, cloud, security, and infrastructure

  • Follow established procedures and protocols for issue resolution and project workflows

  • Complete incident, change, and project tickets with accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail

  • Improve technical documentation to maximize efficiency, repeatability, and profitability

  • Continuously expand technical knowledge, staying current with new technologies and best practices

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients as needed

Salary Range: $85,000-95,000/year
